Instrument Group
The instrument group is a fairly recent addition to the club's activities with quite a few members interested in the activity.

We started with the idea of making a simple Cigar Box Guitar type of stringed instrument but now includes box type ukuleles and traditional shaped ukuleles and guitars.
​
We have one member who has been making traditional acoustic guitars for many years .
Member constructed acoustic guitar and concert ukulele.
Instrument above is 4 string guitar tuned to DGBE and to the right is a box type concert ukulele made in a similar way to traditional ukuleles and tuned to the standard GCEA.
